We’re excited to roll out a new feature inside Venn CRM that’s already making a big impact: Missed Call Text Back.
We built this feature with one simple idea in mind—you shouldn’t lose leads just because you missed a call. Whether you’re on another line, out of the office, or simply unavailable, your CRM can now automatically send a personalized text to anyone who calls and doesn’t get through.
It’s a small addition with big potential—one that keeps your business responsive, even when you can’t answer the phone.
What It Does
When activated, this feature will detect a missed inbound call and instantly send a text message to that number. The message is fully customizable, so you can sound like yourself while still maintaining a professional and helpful tone.
Example:
“Sorry we missed you! How can we help?”
The caller can reply via text, and the conversation continues directly in your Venn CRM messaging inbox.
Why It Matters
Missed calls are more than just missed connections—they’re missed revenue, missed bookings, and missed trust. By responding in real-time (even when you’re not available), you stay in the conversation, show customers you’re paying attention, and increase the chances they stay engaged.

How to Set It Up
Getting started is easy:
- Go to Phone Numbers in your Venn CRM settings
- Select the number you want to use
- Toggle on Missed Call Text Back
- Write your auto-reply message
- Save and activate
Now your CRM will work behind the scenes to keep the conversation going, even when you’re not at your desk.
